Year 1 - Houses/Homes

As part of their Geography topic Houses and Homes, Year 1 explored the local area to observe and identify different types of housing in our community. The children spotted a range of home types including detached, semi-detached and terraced houses, as well as flats and bungalows. They discussed the key features of each type of home and considered why people might choose to live in them. The children then shared their own preferences, explaining which house they would most like to live in and why.
